When youre in debt in Belgium the government will help u manage your money, so theyll pay all the bills and then give you the money thats left after that for u to spend on other stuff. If theres nothing left, theyll give u some more money but most ppl in that situation only have like 50€/ a week to spend freely.

Also when u cant pay your electric bill they install cut it off and install budget meter. Then u have to put credit on a card and at home u just put the card in some kinda machine and u get power. U just get power for as long as theres credit on the card tho. We've had this and it turns out cheaper than a normal contract

yea america is too gay to do that lol although we have fuel assistance that can possibly pay my gas so itd be just electric to worry about for a little while
