it sounds to me that "journalistic style" is a form of writing but i have no clue whether it is a writing format or a writing dialogue. i can take a guess on it and say that it is a writing dialogue.

a journalist is someone who gives information (such as statistics and stuff like that) and then bases it on his/her own opinions. if i were in your position i would write the essay like a newspaper article. i would state the facts, show proof of those facts, give statistics, and then write my own opinion in a brief sentence or two. im not sure if that is what your teacher is looking for but that is what i would do.

im sorry i cant help out any more than that :( good luck Alyssa :flower:

erm normally a report wouldn't include your own opinion as such - you can have a certain angle / point of view on the stuff you write about (i.e. a report can be "biased") but it's not normal to write stuff like "in my opinion..."
Journalistic style is the style you write in, and it's actually quite different from other writing styles. Usually you slowly develop and describe something that leads you to a particular point or conclusion. Newswriting gets straight to the point, and develops the story "backwards." You start by stating the main points and then go further into detail with the rest of the information, from the most important to the least important. Oh and keep your sentences simple and direct.

i know it's probably too late 4 u to use any of this info now but at least u know till next time ;)
