So are the rappers starving ? They still seem to have chains and cars and houses. Get ur head out of ur ass.

And? What the hell is your point?? If got 1.000.000 bucks, why wouldnt i wanna make em 1.000.001?? Why would i wanna trade 1.000.000 for 999.999 instead of 1.000.001?? Should they spend parts of their fortune for ur musical leisure or sumthin....like who the hell are you to deserve such an honor. Your lucky enuff their music exists so that u can listen, instead of an endless search to fill up ur voids.

Point is, they aint starving, they dont wanna starve, and they dont care if you want their music for free, they got those money FROM their music, not FOR their music.

thats if ur doing rap only for money, music should be art not a job, they get paid enough for art to live a pleasurable life, im gonna support them but im not gonna compromise not buying someone elses album just coz i want to hear all the songs that some artist has got. Infact it is a better way to spread money in the music industry.

I think downloading can be a good thing, as long as it doesn't make someone think: "I'll stop buying albums, I'll just download them for free off the internet"... music fans need to support their favorit artists... and not buying an album doesn't just harm the artist/singer/rapper/band, but it also affects the whole team who worked on this and aren't famous, unlike the artist(s) and don't get to win millions of dollars... so I think it's really important for music fans to support the music industry

and it may seem unfair to some people that someone wins millions by making music while others work "as hard" in regular jobs, or others, like doctors, save lives of many people, but the thing is, those who makes millions kinda deserve it, because they make millions of people happy with their music... and for some fans, an artist can become like a role model, and it's important for kids to have role models (yeah, some rappers shouldn't be role models for young kids, but you get the idea)... so it's like, they work for millions of people, they millions of "bosses" who pay them, which explains why they have a lot of money... an artist that nobody likes won't make money so it's not like anybody can win millions with music, you need to at least have talent, or luck lol...

Think a bit. What kind of person will download for free then buy the album....same content!!!!

All the little hypocrits that say "imma download and if i like it imma buy it" are assholes. You buy to listen, you dont listen to buy, altho the latter one may happen some times, but only what the artist is giving u for free.

So you got the album, and it is good. Why you buy it?
You got the album, from your favorite artist. You buy out of loyalty?
If it's wack? You just keep it downloaded. And you know sumthin...if that shit was free, none would say its wack and its bad and its shit. People love anything free, even excrements. The 'loss' is when you buy shit. Only if you spend you really care about the content.

I downloaded Full Circle....the CD was average. It didnt bother me, its still in my HDD and i might spin it a few times.
I bought Fiasco's album....the CD is banging and i was glad i spent bucks on it.
I bought Public Enemy and it was fucked up....i was like 'shit why the fuck did i buy that shit?'.

if it wasn't for downloading, I wouldn't buy as much CDs as I do right now... it's cool to be able to download a song you always wanted to hear but couldn't find anywhere in your local music store... it's cool to check out a few songs on an album before buying it... and if you don't like these songs, you don't go buy it... and thanks to downloading, you can hear artists from all around the world, that isn't necessarily in your local music store... that's why I think downloading can be a good thing... to me, downloading is like having an international music store in my house, where you can check out songs from any albums you want... but like I said, it's a bad thing if someone stops buying albums because he can download them for free... and read the rest of my first message to know what I think of it...

if downloading made my appreciate more music, and made me buy more CDs than before, it can have the same effect on other people, so downloading isn't just a bad thing.. the thing to do is to make people aware of the consequences of downloading, in the music industry, and encourage people to continue to buy CDs or download music legally and support the music industry, otherwise it will slowly die... cause I don't think downloading can be stopped...

downloading is wrong, and we all know it. the fact that some of the artists are already rich or the fact that you go buy the cds that you enjoy doesn't mean shit.

it's still stealing, and if you get caught, they're going to sue you. end of thread.

If there was no dowloads we'd all be buying something that somebody else wants us to buy, without being give the Free choice. Coz what they play on the radio in no way reflects the views of what people wanna here..

Why should any of us let the cd retailers set up non realistic prices on cds?

And im not even start explaining how much more the prices are to people that live abroad.
