When someone is dead should you say RIP after their name?

When someone has past on should yo have to say their name when your talking about them

EG.
Proof was the best rapper alive R.I.P Proof

its a respect thing, and also i think its just a personal call. for example, me personally, i dont do it at all. i dont go "oh so i was listenin to Tupac today, RIP, and he has good music." not that i disrespect him, but i dont need to say RIP everytime i talk about him to show my respect. but then other people feel they do need to say RIP everytime to show respect. so like i said, its how somebody feels about it. if they want to, fine. if they dont want to, thats fine as long as its not out of disrespect for the dead person. but whether or not you "should"... i dont care.
