What summer concerts are you going to or want to go to?

and maybe Beastie Boys, but i doubt it. it costs more than Nas ticket plus i'd have to pay for train and a place to stay for night. meh..

i just went to a gwen stefani concert with akon and lady soveriegn. i havent heard much of lady soveriegn n at the concert she was reallllly good and funny & drunk lol.

I just went to the Honda Civic tour concert on Wednesday with my girlfriend and 2 of her sisters(since one of her sisters friends couldn't go :n:

) Paul Wall was there :n:

Some bands I never heard of, The Academy is :n:

and Cobra Starship :n:

and 2 bands I knew, Plus 44 (+44) :y:

and Fall Out Boy :n:

Fall Out Boy was last since they headlined it. Their set was good but their music sucks. One band member made jokes about Brittney spears and about akon throwing the kid off the stage which were funny so it kinda made it somewhat enjoyable...and they covered "Beat It" by Michael Jackson which was surprisingly alright. Plus 44 was the best and everyone else sucked. I wanted to meet paul wall so I could out rap him in person but I didn't get to:(

and last night, I went to a concert with my friend Chaz. We saw Bloc Party. The opening act was the Maccabees which were alright but the lead singer seemed to be fucked up or not knowing what he was doing. Then the Noisettes came on and the drummer is insanely good. One of his sticks flew out of his hand and got stuck in the stage top (it was outside and the stage was covered by a canvas top thing) Their music was great too. Then Bloc Party came on and they were amazing. I highly recommend to see them live. If they ever come to NJ again I'm gonna go. They were 1000% better than all the bands at the concert I went to the night before combined., They were THAT good. Plus, I was basically 2nd row (there were no seats) so it was the stage, the guard rail, 2ppeople in front of us, then my friend Chaz and I. Damn that was a good concert. I may have to scan the poster they gave us just for the hell of it and post it up. yeah..Imma do that now

i wanne go toa respek BA gig on July 15th but im strapped for cash, im gonni look out for Respek BA, Stig, gigs in glasgow hopefully to go to some of them :y:

probly only shows at clubs and shit though, *wears jeans and shirt to look 18*

i've just came back from Nas' performance, i'ma post a review n pics later.

all i want to say is that people act like fuckin animals and personally, it fucked up the whole thing for me. not to mention DJs who weren't able to set their stuff properly for almost 2hrs so we were stuck there with shitty music. meh, but Nas was awesome :smoking:
