Girl problem? Help

Well here is what happen...my girlfriend was searching on my phone and found a text message she didnt like that i thought i deleted...i was in class with my buddy and we were talking about how he was looking for a gf so we started talking about these two girls in front of us over a text message. The jist of the story is we were joking around sending messages and one of my messages said "oh yes how i would like to smake that ass", next thing you know later on that night my gf sees that message and now she doesnt trust me and is thinking about braking up with me! even after i explained it was just a message and we were only joking! any ideas guys?
