im sorry man but i couldnt not respond.

if a underground rapper hooked up with soulja boy and did a shitty club track, and then sayed "i did this becuase it sells" in all honesty, whats your reaction going to be ?

i agree contacts is the key, the old saying is true, its not what ya know its who ya know, but killing creativity doesnt go along with the contacts, if i hooked up with a guy who did club tracks and he wanted me on it, id go on there with lyrical slaughter and murder the thing (well id attempt to) and then id be on the club track showing lyrics can still be pressent

sorry but what you said sorta hit a nerve, coz its double standards, and the beats in hip hop should be kept just as creative as we expect artists to be.

I agree, but... once you get signed to a label, you'll have the freedom to do as you like, right? so he still does the creativity stuff, but he sends his crappy club beats out to the rappers.... it's not like he's given up on making good quality creative beats..

^ lol its good to think like that, but it will never happen for him, if you get signed coz your a great singer, jump in the booth n spit a verse the A&R is not gonni allow it coz you got signed to sing.

this same sorta thing happened with papoose and he got dropped for it, even though his sign on fee was 1.5 million dollers, the A&R didnt like what he was doin and wanted him to do something different.

its sorta the same lines as false advertising.

aint hating on nothing man, the guy done great to get Raje ect. on track, i just dislike the whole selling out to get signed thing he has going, probly happens to me coz im from the UK n im guessing anyone into UK hip hop would understand why it annoys me lol

but hey, if he gets signed and produces sick as fuck creative beats, ill say i was wrong lol
