I mostly listen to Hip-Hop so out of the 47 GB that my Itunes states, 95% is rap. I also have a lot of singles (album/radio versions plus acappellas/instrumentals) that I don't store in music programs, so I guess around 50 GB total.

However, I'm more about quality than quantity. So I usually dedicate my time to an album and I listen to a single artist per period. Like, back in September/October I was listening to Mos Def for 85% of the time and the rest was spent on various different albums. I got OCD though so I love having a lot of albums but it's more for the sake of having them than anything else. Many of the albums I have, I only check 1-3 songs and on rare occasions.

Ever since megaupload got shut down and kim dotcom got arrested a lot of filesharing sites have closed and all the other ones really cracked down on illegal content.

Do you guys find it is harder to find music these days? Like b4 I used to Google an artist than I would get a million links now it can be very difficult.

Well, if it's new music there are always torrents, but for older music it's harder. Lately I've been doing it the hard way - download the FLAC version from http://hiphoplossless.com/ and then convert to mp3.

Mediafire is by far the fastest. Albums download in less then a minute for mediafire where it could be over an hour for other sites
