although I find it hard to believe that this is the case, there technically isn't anything wrong with sticking to "good enough", if you're happy with the product and where you stand (in this case, having fans). If this is the case, then any criticism from here on now would really just be bashing for not being the way you want it. Of course, he'll probably continue to post here for whatever reason, and people will just diss him or ignore him. Yeah, I think he should take criticism if he wants to keep posting songs here but he doesn't technically have to and can keep making music the way he desires and it would be justified because:
-he's happy with it
-he's not interfering with your rights and forcing you to listen
-he has the right to post atm
-people can still post whatever they want on his work (as long as its with the rules)

But if this isn't the case, then atone, take creams advice.

but being happy from such projects from an ICP fan isn't logical. i'm not demanding anything the way "i want it", i didn't tell him what to exactly do, he'll have to find that out, but some advices aren't opinions but technical information for him to improve on some elements, i think everyone who truly gives a shit about what he's doing will want to improve generally. the main thing here is the quality of his tracks from the mixing to the beats used and how he sounds like he's scared of getting heard. listening to every other basement rapper and his idols he shouldn't be happy with such results and know that he can be better. i bet more people listening to his tracks will only make him more happy. no one's forbidding him to post but why post in an Audio Stage while you won't work with the criticisms or disregard the feedback? what he's doing is just a bad way of spending time, if it's a hobby you'll only become better but he had 5+ records and no sign of improvement, what can anybody think of that :/ and i ain't even "hating", sometimes i did insult Atone just for the sake of it and i found out how immature that was, i'm only stating my thoughts.

I agree with your opinions but that's all they are, opinions. It is logical for him to be content with his work even if it's below quality. He doesn't have to want improvement.

Yesterday i sent 3 random new tracks from my album to a record label based in Miami, didn't think they would reply but i just got a reply saying that they are concidering me for a promotion project with potential to be signed, i'm not getting to hype over this, but they are sending me paperwork soon for me to look over.

anything can happen, who knows, maybe they feel they can help me get a lil better, idk, i'm not saying exactly what label just yet, i'm not expecting something huge to happen out of this, but it would be cool as fuck if something big did happen

Sometimes I feel it's really sad how you have wasted so much time typing up fake things about your life in the Backstage of TRShady rather than actually going out and doing something. :/

No offense though. :y:

didn't make this up man, it turned out to be some sort of Promo package thing where Slip-N-Slide "On The Grind" would do promo deals if i paid for a package, weather it be the bronze, gold, silver, or indie label package, or, if i wanted, i could pay them for a twitter package to gain like 2000 followers lmao.

i could upload the pdf they sent me if i still have it on my laptop, probably could re-download it from my e-mail tho if i needed to, but i got all hyped for nothin.

what happened was is i was on the website for slip-n-slide (same label as Plies, and where Rick Ross started) and was checkin shit out, noticed they had a thing where i could send a demo, so just for fun, i sent my 3 newest songs to them, not thinking they would even reply, but 2 days later i went and checked my e-mail and had a e-mail from their A&R.

I wouldn't do it, if I were you.

No hate, I'm just saying that unless you've made ridiculously large leaps in quality, you're not going to get your money's worth out of any kind of promotional package.

I'm not doin it, i deleted it after reading it all,

plus i don't ever really want to sign to a label or anything like that because i know they will want to make profit and i don't want to sell my music, i enjoy putting it out for free

Good choice.

Was the record label saying something about a deal as well?

I don't get why you keep saying that you're not interested in signing with a label and now your signature says "Potentially workin on a record deal" (which is actually pretty funny to be potentially working towards something  I mean usually one is either working towards it or not, but for you there's potential that you might start working towards it or not)

it said there would be promotional deals with a possibiltiy of getting signed, but i don't have $300 to be paying for something that may not even get me what they claim,

and solace, i sent the tracks to the label just for fun, cuz the link was there, and i havn't updated my status cuz i'm not a trshady junkie and come on here to post 24/7 and change every aspect of my profile.

sorry i'm not so perfect on here, blehhhh
