Heres what I would do If I were you, the only way your going to get paid more than minimum wage is find a resteraunt that is family owned and see if they will hire you as a waiter/waitress, I think you have to be 18 but those places will take what they can get and you would probably get tips!
My first job was at my church when I was 15 ( My dads the pastor) I got paid $10/ hr to just watch the gym whenever basketball teams would practice in there.
My 2nd one was working as general maintinence at a golf course which I got $8/hr but 40 hours a week so it wasnt too bad, then my last job I was a Pizza Hut delivery Driver which is okay money if you get tips but The managers suck ass and you get paid minimum wage, Now I'm currently in the proccess of getting my golf course job back, and waiting till I'm 21 so I can be a merchandiser for Frito Lay, that's what my cousin does, its a good 15/hr and you get tons of hours!!

Some talk, some joke, but most are okay... just say "hi", pay for what they're gonna buy, and then leave.

I've been working in grocery store for almost a year now, plus I did it 6-7 months in 2010. Been working in different places for the same company... some places it was boring as shit, and I wanted to die, lmfao.

Started working right after highschool, I was 18. I first started working in a big supemarket. That sucked balls. After two years there I got a job in a big chemical plant "Petrokemija". I`m here since 2005 and it`s a great job. I graduated from college while working, this year I`ll go for two more years. I hope I`ll find a better job now when I got my diploma.

I'm working at a golf course for the summer making $13.50/hr, and it's easy and fun. Good people and get to drive a bunch of fun vehicles. Hours are 6am-2pm so it's kinda wack.

@ Blu I started working at 18 I think you have to be 18 to be a delivery driver at a major chain.

And I would have but I only got 10-15 hrs a week so it didnt bring in too much $ anyways lol.

Wow thats basically what I did along with raking traps, mowing, weed eating, and digging up leaks lol, I only made $8/hr. and I'm about to be working there again, oh well its good experience!

And Blu I'm sure there are plenty of odd jobs you can do and maybe even pay check jobs, If I were you I'd be looking on craigslist and contacting as many ppl as possible.
