Just remind yourself each time you're about to over-eat/eat something bad, remind yourself not to, take a deep breath/sigh, then go do something that will keep you busy.
A big thing is just forgetting it, if you think about it you'll go eat more(that's what I did) the more I stayed busy or ignored it (video games or something) the less I ate.
When you go out to local areas don't carry money, or a credit card on you cause you'll just force yourself to go to a subway or a fast food place.
Keep doing football, gym, anything. Make yourself believe you're a machine, an unstoppable machine that doesn't feel the need to stop. You'll feel unstoppable.
