This site appears to have a fundamental disconnect between regular members and staff members.

Yep, this is one of the things I dislike the most about this site. They come up with decisions out of the blue without letting regular members know, announce, or even hint, and then when anybody question what they did, simply asking for a reason, refuse to let us know their reasons for their actions, and for such a small community, it's awful.

We've given you guys reasons for our decisions. The couple of bans, promoting TripleNineThree...all of those had reasons that we shared with you guys when asked. I do think that we should have announced his promotion, at least made a thread in AS, and we should probably make more of effort to tell you guys what's going on before it happens in the future.

I admit we've been bad with updating you guys with what's going on before it happens. I used to do that before, announcements and shit, but with the forum's decline, I guess I just became lazy about that.

I understand I've also seen this happen before.

On a site I was on previous to this, our Admin went AWOL for months on end. Instead of keeping members in the dark, we were 100% up front with them with what was going on, and did whatever we could to pull together as a community and keep going on as normal so to speak.

Problem is that TRshady (him, not the forum) has been pretty much like this since 2007/2008. So we are all used to it, except new members.
