There are different types of talents, some I appreciate more than the others, they appeal to me more. Talentless is just a word people use to describe a talent they're not interested in.

That's kind of confusing because really it means not having talent at all as opposed to not having talent that one is not interested.

Of course talent is falls under a variety of skills but the if someone exceeds in a certain skill (like RA in lyricism), then why not acknowledge it? Not on sucking up level, but on a recognition level.

That's just my logic really, nothing in general.

We can all admit RA can do good punchlines and all, but still, their inferiority in other talents (That are relevant to lyricism) makes them meh. By "recognition level" I can see why they have fans because of their horrorcore shit, but I'm not one.I don't even listen to horrorcore rap, but if I did I'd aim for a more musically talented and well-rounded rapper/musician like Brotha Lynch Hung. He makes better music and the way he handles his gimmick makes it not get old, like RA. Just random rhymes and punchlines. They got lyrical talent, good, they don't have musical talent though.

I love Shad, dude. I never said RA was GOAT. I said they had recognizable talent and their fans aren't just into them for their image/"gimmick". Do I think Shad deserves more credit? Yeah definitely.

But just because guys like that > RA overall doesn't mean RA is straight up talentless. imo RA's punches > Shad's.

I'm not talking directly to you bruh, we both have a close taste of music and you're one of my favorite members, I'm kinda speaking in general.

I have nothing against RA afterall, I won't criticize anybody who listens to them cause it's opinions afterall, just like I appreciate musical talent over lyricism and consider multi's the most overrated form of lyricism, people will differ. But the way I say things is I'm not gonna be so respectful and say that I recognize other rappers' certain talents when I say my opinion mostly because I don't care about them. And it's sort of like a Newton 3rd law of motion because everybody does the same, and as I'm posting in a community that prefers multis over lyricism that might be lacking compared to underground rappers I'll go ahead and say they're straight up talentless just for the sake of an argument.

But in reality, they can rhyme and do punchlines, that's their talent, people will appreciate it, people won't, I don't, it'll be boring if everybody won't criticize anything cause they recognize their other talents. "I don't like Rhyme Asylum, but I respect their rhymes and punchlines", it would be a forum of xxTrigger####xx.

I haven't fully either, I listened to The Great Debator back in 2011 and I downloaded The Salvation a couple of weeks ago, those are the only ones I did check, but from those two I'd say he's pretty sick and I'd advice him to pretty much everybody. I used to always overrate Rhyme Asylum. They're a bit of a one trick pony really. Good at what they do, but lack a certain charisma in delivery and lyrics. It's all a bit formulaic. Their flows are a bit sloppy as well.

I still listen to their first album now and again, though.
