the 70s is the best don't question that or I will roast you.. Apocalypse now, the godfather, and Taxi Driver>

If anyone critics older movies for not being as visually appealing or stupid shit like being black & white though, than they are dunderhead.

if you mean now than yeah, although I wouldn't rly say overrated as he's kinda panned nowadays plus sanctum is one of the worst movies I've ever seen...

His output in the 80s is gr8 tho.

his nose would probably bleed out from watching anything close to The Tree of Life spiritually and conceptually. Of course he haven't seen any of them. :''''''(

yeah, I've only really been into movies for the past couple of years so I'm not claiming to be an expert or anything but Bigray you're being a bit ignorant here m8. there are a lot of movies you haven't seen so a lot of the statements you've made on recent films are unqualified. not seeing any of the movies on lil b's list is quite a shame m8

also don't dismiss them when you find out that some of them are unconventional lol, esp the tree of life

Other movies that I also think are the best:

Blue is the Warmest Color
American Beauty
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Closer
Shawshank Redemption
12 Angry Men
Fight Club
Up (Greatest Animation of All Time)
Amélie Poulain
(500) Days of Summer
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.

Yea, 2000's > 90's, imo.
