Man, who cares what people think about mainstream. Do you watch indie movies and not go to the movie theater? Them shits are mainstream, lol. I love a lot of mainstream music. John Mayer is a beast. Matchbox 20, Kanye (Fuck what anyone says), Jadakiss, Nas, etc.. I know that's a little off topic, but the whole "underground vs mainstream" shit is ridiculous no matter what aspect of entertainment we're talking about. There is a diverse group of standup in the underground scene. I only know this because Joe Rogan mentions them a lot in his podcasts. But yeah, Idc what anyone says; Dane Cook's badass. I have all his DVD specials downloaded, lol.

I hate Dane Cook. I loved him till I found my ideal type of comedians. He just relies on exageration and performance rather than wit or the joke itself. This is all personal opinion, if he floats your boat, fine with me.

The Hangover was a theater movie. I don't think I would laugh alone but in the theater atmosphere (watching it with my sisters and step mom) it was the funniest shit ever.

Kick Ass was kinda dark. Loved that.

Back to mainstream. Idk, I liked Dirk Nowistksi, BOB, Akon, and a few other things till everyone else started to. It just feels so cliche liking what other people like.

I think that's what I enjoy most about him; He exaggerates a ton and is sarcastic as hell. Which is my personality, lol. I enjoy a lot of diverse styles of comedy. Maybe turned me on to Russell Peters; He's hilarious. Every time I watch his skits I die. And as I said, Joe Rogan; The funniest pot comedian ever, imo. If you haven't seen his standup, go download "Talking monkeys in space" -- Infact, I'm going to go watch that again now.

I'll check out the Joe Rogan one if you watch Bill Burr's "Why Do I Do This". I watched it after being slappy happy at like 4 in the morning and my sides hurt all the next day.

Though I hate Dane's comedy I can honestly say it'd be the shit to hang out with him for a day though.
