People give the mod team a lot of shit for making Charlotte a mod so early. There was a point where this site was run VERY poorly by the likes of Geno who it was clear to see favored his lame little friends.

However, CanadaPure was also made a mod very soon after joining. Tbh that decision was absolutely spot on. CP is a great addition to the mod team.

I don't think time should have anything to do with becoming a mod. I do think it should be a factor (but not the only factor) in becoming a vet.

well, tho, everyone likes being liked (by people they respect). so it's kinda understandable people caring and all. a vet status is probably sufficient confirmation for being liked, but, like, not a necessary confirmation, i guess. if that makes sense, lol.

Liked in the sense that it could make someone feel like a "prominent" member of the forum, yeah I understand. It's still made to be a way bigger deal than it actually is. Like, take some of Silver's (this might be a terrible example) posts. It almost comes across like he feels he's been downright disrespected because he hasn't been made a vet.

If you actually feel disrespected that much, theres a bigger problem (which is probably expected, given my example).
