Yet you posted eminem as your number 1 rapper... A man who not only has rapped about everything you just said, but also idolized this group to the point he molded parts of his acts after them. Hypocritical?

Also, you mentioned something about top 10 on itunes, blah blah blah... What the hell does that have to do with someone's career being dead or not? Since when does sales equate talent? (not that I'm defending these idiots) it's merely the principle.

shut the fuck up and quit hatin on icp when Eminem has said shit like that in his music,

No, no.. did you watch the video?

None of those people told their fans to their face to do drugs or anything like that. Maybe in their music, but not face to face in real life. Music and real life aren't the same thing. It's like a movie or video game.

Yeah, but ICP was literally telling kids to commit crimes and get high. I mean they even said they don't care if they were the ones that had any type influence on a kid shooting up a school. I mean of course that wouldn't be their fault, but at least show some remorse if a kid does that shit in your name and image. These are two of worst human beings to ever be born in my opinion, that's not even on a musical level.

"straight shook" as oppose to being shook vertically or horizontally? I can't imagine anyone avoiding conflict with someone simply because they told them, "hey, you should have drank their jizz!" Especially coming from someone who tries so desperately to smear their inner-thug all over the forum, much like a dog would drag its worm-infested ass on the ground. (insecure much?). i'll suggest another scenario: Perhaps he was avoiding you due to your overtly annoying speech patterns and lack of any and all common sense? Of course, I'm only guessing at the annoying speech pattern based off how I'm seeing you type. Straight up.

if getting a feature on spike tv, being a guest on a few talk shows, having 61 thousand followers on twitter, getting ready to put out their 12th album, having Ice Cube, Hopsin, and a shit load of others be apart of their show, and getting talked about on 3 popular tv shows means their career is dead....

i would love to have a career and let it be dead to

if they are being talked about than their career is still very much alive

yeah, they have a rap career but they aint moving any units. dudes prolly never sell more than a few thousand copies nowadays. also, i remember them dudes gettin str8 punked on stern years ago

i remember this white tweaken fag ass dude lived up the street from me, he came back from a icp show and was braggin that he got some rootbeer in his mouth that one of those fag ass clows spit into the crowd.. :facepalm i str8 up told that dude he was a pussy and next time he should drink their jizz

i had that dude so shook after that , that hed be hiding behind trees and under his car when hed see me..no bullshit, and i didnt even have any beef with him, just a typical paranoid cracked out icp fan[/quote]

I mentioned iTunes because their charts are a representation of sales, so why are you giving me shit for that? Atone said their career wasn't dead, it is. You should really go back and read my posts clearly. And fuck yeah I have Eminem as number one. The Slim Shady LP, The Marshall Mathers LP, Devil's Night, and The Eminem Show are some of the best albums ever recorded. That doesn't mean they are best because there are a lot of good albums out there, but for music in general and hip hop as a whole they are some of the best albums to be recorded from this genre. The only competion that they have faced (hip hop albums, not music as a whole) since the first release in 1999 are The Chronic 2001, College Dropout, The Black Album, The Blueprint, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy (And Kanye's album really only compete musically), Section.80, Habits & Contradictions, & Control System. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Here comes the list of underground rappers, I know they exist and that there are some really talented ones, but name one that is just as artistic with their music as they are lyrical and deep. Hell, some of these underground rappers completely disregard art and music and just go down that lyrical miracle route with only the best of them being able to rhyme and have a message at the same time. Point is, they've had no impact and haven't changed the genre. Now, I know some chose to stay underground, and I agree, that's where they should be. I know underground rappers are, for the most part, better than the mainstream rappers, but what makes them different from the next guy. You all can rap, so I really don't care how complex so and so's rhymes and puns are if they can't translate it into a deep, listenable, artistic piece of work that either does something for the genre, reinvents it, or innovates it. TDE is doing this shit the right why which is why they are gaining so much attention, and they deserve it. They are making art, and Eminem made art too. Lately he's been lacking but at least he's still above average for the most part, with an amazing song here and there, and hasn't sold out in any sense of the word. The only thing you could debate him on with the whole "sell-out" topic is that Bruno feature that he didn't even choose (I know he did go along with it, obviously, but Royce has an equal say in BME so where is he to say no when he arrange nearly everything else for that project?). So yeah, your damn fucking right I put Eminem number one on my list, and he'll stay there until someone out does him in my eyes. It's my list I choose who's number one. The only people getting close right now, in my opinion, are Ab-Soul & Kendrick Lamar. And yeah, Eminem was an ICP fan, but is he any more and does his music sound even remotely like their music? I mean sure, they do horror-core/shock value rap like Eminem did, but neither of them were the first to do so. Also, even if you detect a hint of ICP influence in any Eminem's music, who did it better, him or them? He actually had/has talent while they obviously don't/didn't. Next point, Eminem did advocate some of the subjects, even worse ones than what ICP have, but he did it in his music. It's completely different from you telling a kid to do these things to their face, they are more likely to be influenced by your direct words than through a record. At the same time Eminem has explored some pretty gruesome topics in his music, he always said don't do drugs and kind of made a joke out of himself for using them, and he never once told a kid to his face to do anything he said in his music. He's, in fact, been very vocal since his being to make sure that his fans don't do these things in person and even in the same music that makes note of these topics. I mean the first track off his debut album said, "Don't do drugs." My last point, I honestly believe that the mainstream's best hip-hop offerings are better than what the underground can provide. My prime examples being Tech N9ne (he's mainstream now), Kendrick Lamar (he's in a kind of limbo at this point), Eminem (yeah, he's still being counted and I don't give a fuck if you disagree), and Yelawolf (artistic and lyrical as fuck, but no so much on Radioactive but some of those songs were still present that made me like him when he was underground). Just because an artist is successful and is no longer underground they shouldn't be considered automatic shit.

that shit was funny as fuck^

@block thanks for critiquing my typing, u want a cookie? i was giving an example of an icp fan, u have a problem with what i said 2 him then thats on u, and if u read what i said, the dude was cracked out and was scared shitless of me, for no reason.. he was a paranoid pussy, his wife even asked me if i was gonna kick his ass. if i was gonna make some bullshit up, or brag about some tuff rep, first i wouldnt had said he was a pussy, second, i wouldnt had said he was a crack head and third, i wouldve just said that i knocked his ass out when he was braggin about getting some dudes spit out rootbeer in his mouth..

i got better shit to do than to make stories up on the fuckin internet about some bitchass crackhead/heroin junkie.. if its really that serious,i can get ppl in my neighborhood on camera to confirm the story and more shit about this dude.. and plus some other shit that ive done.. when ppl doubt me, i go out and prove my sht

'inner thug" u c me flamed up and posing with guns  i just dont have a problem with giving a dude a one two. last i checked, that doesnt make u a "thug" i wont front, ive gotten my ass kicked a couple of times, my nose and my cheekbone fractured, (if u doubt that, u can see that in the pics i posted on another site) that comes with the territory tho

Are you guys really trying to defend Eminem saying that just because he advocates violence in music that he isn't as bad as ICP telling kids to commit crimes in person?

You'd have to be pretty fucking stupid to take advice that promotes violence from any famous figure, unless you want to end up like Zolt Shady or a Juggalo.

I stopped reading that wall about 1/4th of the way in. this isn't a debate about underground or mainstream. You obviously lack the ability to comprehend what I was getting at by mentioning the fact your entire post about icp setting bad examples (or whatever you said. I can't be bothered to check to quote verbatim) is hypocritical because of the fact you list eminem--who was influenced greatly by them--as one of your favorite rappers. That's like me saying I hate soda but love coka cola. It makes no sense. Yet you veer completely off-topic and start defending your taste in music? Lol. That was never in question.

edit: I read that wall of text and lol.... You're completely off in left field somewhere. READING COMPREHENSION.

@whatever your name is (again, I can't be bothered to look back): again with the blatant insecurities. Your post reads like a page from a menstruating 15 year old emo chick's journal--full of over-compensation with an air of estrogen and self-exploration. I'm sure you'll find yourself one day. Until then, the tough act is only cute from ages 5-12. But hey, I'm sure someone's impressed somewhere...
