I mix weed:tobacco in roughly a 7:3 ratio. I just have a huge bowl of chop that I smoke through a bong or joints. Sajn I suggest you get pre-rolled papers, they are actually really good.

Mixing tobacco or not mixing wont really matter, tobacco smoke isn't as scratchy so if you have a plant covered in crystals it will scratch your throat most likely, especially after a whole jay, so I like to mix but honestly mate it doesn't matter.. You should try both and decide what is best for you.

I don't smoke cigarettes at all but have noticed a bit of a physical addiction to weed once I added tobacco (as I smoke daily). So that's something you might want to consider also.

The reason some of you have heard of it and others have not is because it's a European thing.

I'm not saying all Europeans smoke with Tobacco, but it's much more widespread there than here in the US/Canada. The first time I had ever heard of it was when I was reading about it in an old issue of High Times from like 1987. I was baffled that people even did such a thing.

Look, SajN, who ever told you that it's a waste without the tobacco is ill-informed. The tobacco ruins the taste of the weed anyway. Not to mention Nicotine is toxic, and you're actually increasing your risk for COPD by combining the two. Weed smokers have about the same risk for COPD as non-smokers, Cigarette smokers have an increased risk, but those who smoke both have a higher risk than the Cigarette smokers. That's not according to me, that's according to an article published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal from 2009.

And fuck you Canadian twats with your joint filters. Recent studies have shown that regular smokers of Cannabis have the same lung function as those who smoke nothing at all. Pussies.

We don't use it for cleaner lungs, we use filters so the joints don't close at the end. More often than not you'll come across someone who has NO IDEA how to even hit a joint, they'll suck on it and get the paper stuck together and it'll be harder to get a toke and you'll get resin on your lips. Using a filter will prevent that if done correctly.
