Actually, anyone that asks knows that i am a huge Em fan and go to an Em website. But 2 reasons its sorta secretive
1) Being an Eminem stan ain't even THAT cool. People here are either Lil Wayne/ Future heads or "underground Immortal Technique" fans so its isolating.

2) i go through periods of... Lets call it darkness. I switch off my whatsapp, don't log in on Facebook, don't text/ call anyone (including and especially gf and family) so i don't want evidence that i was online.

Well was just trying to emphasize that and make people aware of the consequences. Do a youtube search for employers and facebook. Employers also are savvy with finding your forum posts as well.

But can someone please explain to me the "wrong" of participating on an eminem/hip hop forum?

I have let friends, girlfriends, I think even my mother once read what I wrote, or anything if they are curious to see. Some of my friends go to techno forums, some to car and engines forums, many girls go to clothes and bullshit forums. Nobody seems to really care on my part of the planet.

but it does surprise me that some of you are ashamed or insecure... when there is absolutely nothing to be ashamed or insecure about... Internet and Online contact with people is a huge part of our lives now, and I think that is acceptable to anyone who considers themselves a "modern person". But you know what I mean.

I think the way most people here are so "involved" on the forum especially getting admin status or 13 000 posts haha would be hard for someone not on here to understand. Frankly, it looks unhealthily obsessive haha

What I love about forums is, the fact they scale so accurately with real life.
It's like a mirror reflecting off the fabric of society you see outside your window.

Personally, I don't consider myself obsessed with this place, rather amazed by it.
How does a forum like this still manage to make me laugh each day...?

I've told so many people about the forum.
My mom even asks me, "What have they been talking about on TR?!"

Maybe it can be unhealthy if you let this place go to your head or if you take insults so seriously.

Sometimes I feel like this place is one giant Monday Night Raw episode each day.
