Well, duh. Most black people are terrified of anything that's not masculine and because most of them have been beaten to death with the bible in their mostly Christian families, what do you expect? Look at rap videos. Dudes be showin their chest and be havin water pour down their abs in slow motion, tryin to emphasize their strength and manly ways. My brother would strangle me if I asked him if he thought some other dude was cute. Oddly enough, I was watching a documentary on "Homo Hop" which is basically gay rap music, and some of the guys were saying that rap videos turned them on so much because the men are just as sexualized as the women, so the gay dudes felt like the videos catered to them, even though the rapper in the video would have homophobic lyrics. So in the end, the obsession with masculinity in our community is only leading to the men being sexualized by gay guys, and the women merely being used as props to prove their straight...ness.

TLDR: I actually have no real idea what I'm talking about and yes, you're right that most straight black people are definitely homophobic and I shall stay in the closet forever because my boss hates gay people and I gotta get over Beyonce or I'll lose my job.
