@B.A.D. Is not that there is something wrong, but I think it is good to have some own space. Why would I tell my bf I post here?? For him to come to see what I write?? This is my thing and I like it like that.

I have let friends, girlfriends, I think even my mother once read what I wrote, or anything if they are curious to see. Some of my friends go to techno forums, some to car and engines forums, many girls go to clothes and bullshit forums. Nobody seems to really care on my part of the planet.

but it does surprise me that some of you are ashamed or insecure... when there is absolutely nothing to be ashamed or insecure about... Internet and Online contact with people is a huge part of our lives now, and I think that is acceptable to anyone who considers themselves a "modern person". But you know what I mean.

It has nothing to do with being ashamed. It's about being professional. If you're a job seeker or you have a boss, then they might not like some of the things you may have posted.

* Have you ever talked about drugs or alcohol?
* Ever repeated an Eminem cuss word?
* If you have thousands of posts, employers might think you have a problem
* Ever got in an argument here?
* They might associate you with obnoxious members on here
* Might associate you with Eminem or homophobia

These are all things to consider. Just like facebook, you gotta be clean.

Yeah, but everybody is obsessed with the internet, whether it is facebook or skype or a forum... Anyone I know spends at least 2-3 hours a day using his computer and they have smart phones too. What makes TR worse than other social medias? You can discuss basically everything on here.

If you look at a university, or high school, you'll see 90% of the people dicking around on some sort of device. At least, that's how it is at my university.

Are the friends you are talking about your grandparents? I wouldn't be surprised if they are the only friends you've got. I was talking about young people obviously, not older than 25. Also, when I am in a lecture it is really common to see people doing stuff on their phones. In the bus too. What kind of world do you live in? People check their itunes, facebooks, sports/news/other sites; watch shows, movies, videos in youtube; play games; watch porn; they use internet for studying, working, interacting with people who they know, who they don't know etc. But why am I explaining to you like like I would explain it to a little kid, you are a total retard dumber than a 7 year old. So you better call your grandparents and ask them to read this and explain it to you, maybe they will know how.
