I'm not the biggest blu fan but his verses are arguably the best in taht album if it wasn't for Dear God 2.0 black thought goes ham in that fucking record..

Imagine how goatly a roots record would be with Black thought, blu, mos def, common, and kweli guest features only, maybe a kanye feature too. dunno...

Damn if How I got over and Rising Down was more strict on guests they could be goat albums, and I love them enough as it is...

Also black thought's first verse in no alibi is a top 5 rap verse, FACT.

thought that spoken word "song" that's second to last in Illadelph is WOAT, makes me and VBV wanna hunt that bitch down and burn her house down for almost ruining a great album.

MikeNUFC used to whine about it.

think about it like this, imagine SSLP and MMLP sprinkled with d12 features, so it is like, 50/50 feature tracks to non-feature tracks at least

I'd say the roots features are definitely better than d12 features lolll, but yeah I agree. Imagine if illmatic was sprinkled with guest feautres throughout...

The one "solo" album that really came on point with the guest features is liquid swords, each guest is meticulously handcrafted and picked with extreme care. From the posse cuts to just regular duo songs. It's perfect.

i was talking about Disposable Arts and Long Hot Summer regarding the features being d12-esque

Kanye's always been very fucking on point with choosing features throughout his career. (in terms of adding to the song/album rather than taking away from it).

and I really like Klashnekoff from the uk, just give this one song a listen for me m8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jv-lx1xd5G4

you're right kanye as well, he really was on point in MBDTF, but even picks like slow jamz was perfect, he definitely knows the right mcees to choose for certain songs.

and that guy sounds familiar he almost sounds like a guest in M9's album, he might actually be... Is he a member of triple darkness? If not than nvm, lol. He's pretty nice though.
