Yeah there really is no perfect album, which is why me dividing my scores by two and then assigning it a rating based off that didn't work because Illmatic would have been my only 5 star. And yeah, I've already changed multiple albums ratings multiple times so I'm in the same boat.

I feel like I don't know enough about non rap albums to be able to rate them. I would have zero justification for any of my rankings other than well that's just how much I like it.

ITAOTS would be a five though, maybe only because I've had kocf pt 2 deleted off my iTunes and don't even remember it being apart of the album

that's the same for me, honestly though there's nothing wrong with that. I do try to steer clear of rating an album low if it's a genre I'm not a familiar with or really understand, cause I feel like I'd be doing the album a disservice, but if it's an album that instantly clicks regardless of the genre than i like to give out nice ratings (at least a 4) depending on how much I enjoy it. Would never attempt to "review" a non rap album though, loll, that would be a train wreck...

And loll, I remember you telling me how that song irritated you.

I actually don't ever delete non skit songs off albums but that didn't even seem like a song to me and I would never ever want to listen to it so I said fuck it

Yeah, I might start reviewing albums that I've listened to a lot just so I don't look like I only listen to rap but who knows

I actually like the song a lot but I think that's just because of the /mu/ meme shoved down my throat for months before actually deciding to listen to ITAOTS.

:guitar: I love you Jesus Charrrrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiihhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhst

I really liked it on my first play through but one song (Things Behind The Sun) really stuck out to me so I've mostly been revisting that song. I don't really consider myself to have given it a proper spin. His voice is fantastic.

I'm assuming that's directed to Crash & dead but I still recommend Keaton Henson's Dear... and Birthdays.

Turn on the Bright Lights is a really good album
