Even if it was about 200 or 300m fake acc., you'd still have a shitload of people using facebook and social media in general, active or not. I feel like you are trying to say that most people that have a Facebook account don't use it, which is total blasphemy.
Yes, every single person I know has facebook, or atleast 95% of it. And I'm not only talking about friends, but also family members, my collegues and many more. YOU are living in a shell if you don't realize that almost every person has facebook, active or not.
Every single person I know has facebook =/= I don't have any friends. (HS logic)
I think you don't get it. When I say that almost every person I know has facebook it doesn't mean that I know them from there. I do interact with them, a lot more than on Social media since I don't have FB anymore, but you are basically implying that if someone has facebook that he doesn't know how to have a social life or anything special. You are basically saying that anyone who is on facebook doesn't have a life. Again, you are implying that I don't interact with the "friends" I have on facebook, who I basically know from real life and added them on the internet. And you also think that this is like that for the majority of the population
Get a real life ? Oh the irony. And yes, I do go out with the friends I have/had on facebook, sínce I know every single one of them. I do make shit almost every day with friends. It's funny that even without knowing me you came to the conclusion that just because I post on here makes me an awkward/unsocial person in real life. I bet you don't have any friends based on your personality and the way you judge people over the internet.
Yea... All your friends and family have facebook and you don't have FB yourself. LMAO. Yea, 95 percent of all people have facebook, even though 6 Billion people don't have it LOL. The bottom line is that I'm not living in a shell at all. You're naive. You're a novice and don't even know it. I know thousands of people in real life (both who have facebook and don't have fb), was one of the most popular kids in high school, dated the hottest chick, and I've been around. I've worked in PR for Fortune 500 companies. Not everybody uses or has a facebook, Mr. newcomer. Shocking, right?
The only reason you think that it's true is because approximately 95 percent of your communication is online and you're probably really young and green behind the ears. Or you're the type of person that only has friends that are like minded. Of course everyone you talk to online is using some form of social media. So if you took an online poll on TR, of course everyone is on fb because this place is full of online, juvenile fb addicts just out of HS, who don't leave their bedroom. And you can't label me as someone who doesn't know about social media because I am up to date with just about every site out there (not just the main ones like FB, Reddit, Twiitter, Google Plus, Pinterest) including Vine, My opera, Xanga, About Me, Yahoo Pulse, Stumble Upon, you name it. And I know the true statistics. You're talking to someone that worked for 3 years as a public relations Associate for Gap. I was required to have experience in digital marketing. I'm an expert with social media and I can tell you that not everybody is using it or even knows diddly squat about it.
Though social media is universally very prevalent in today's fast paced iphone world, not everyone is interested in seeing what everyone is up to. A lot of people actually care about privacy and aren't interested in Mark Zuckerberg collecting all their ''likes'' and details. Some people (a lot of people as a matter of fact) quit facebook to make a statement. People get fed up, Some people don't like to be treated as data, some people see facebook as a distraction and have other things to do like meet people in real life or study for a test. We all have cell phones or smart phones, most of us have emails anyways. So facebook is not all that innovative or as revolutionary as you think it is. It's more of a distraction. Many even get bored of it or leave due to poor self image or the fact that it makes some very envious of others. I know all this, I've been around in this arena. I mean A lot of people have even quit facebook...
INCLUDING YOURSELF!!!!
HA HA! That right there says a lot, right off the bat, regardless what your excuse is. I can name countless amounts of real people who have much more real life experience than you who never even considered having a facebook.
I mean fuck, we are on a forum about the GOAT rapper who doesn't use FB. Lots of HS kids don't have fb because they see most of their friends everyday, they're busy taking tests, playing sports, and they don't care to be on a site where there are bullies or even possibly their parents giving them a friend request. Obviously kids younger than 15 or 16 aren't allowed on it, and a lot of older civilians just don't give a shit, you just think they do.
FB has lost a lot users in the US. You think I don't research this shit? Lots of celebrities including Emma Stone, Jennifer Aniston, George Clooney, Megan Fox, Justin Timberlake, Andrew Garfield, Tim Duncan, Drew Barrymore, and even EMINEM have never even considered having a facebook or a twitter. 7 Billion People roaming this earth eat, drink, sleep, dream, and shit everyday. And maybe less than 1 Billion have ever even thought of having a FB. And a lot of people who joined, don't even use it anymore, including yourself. So with that said, get a dam clue. Life is not FB. FB is nothing.
And back to the OP's post, the bottom line is you don't want your boss seeing what you write on TR. I'm not perfect, but you're not gonna be seen as someone very normal simply because of your constant and obsessive postings on here. For instance the way you childishly try to debate me doesn't make you out to be a very exemplary employee, not if they're looking for someone with accountability. I'm just trying to tell it like it is.
I may constantly think about my ex, I may seem a little fickle, but I do know about facebook.
