Check out Intermittent Fasting. Im eating two large meals a day and i feel great, when youre on that 6 meals a day stuff you dont have the time to do anything but eat."

Diet requires sacrificing many things. Eating 2 large meals a day is terrible for your body..What time would you be eating this at?

When dieting as I said requires 6 to 8 meals daily,To succeed, you are going to have to plan ahead. Pack your foods the night before. You will need to always have low-fat foods around. not large meals but smaller meals. Your body needs food every 2 to 3 hours, but the right food. See below for for info on this and do ur own research on the internet.

Sasho Ognenovski: I normally eat 5-6 meals each day. When I want to get ready for a competition, I actually consume 6-7 smaller meals per day.

I find that by consuming that many meals, my body burns extra calories in the process of digesting the food. With every consumed meal, the body temperature rises and you burn those few extra calories throughout the day.

Kim Dolan Leto: Eating six small, frequent meals per day enables me to maintain muscle mass, keep my body weight and body fat low, and sustain consistent energy throughout the day.

Diego Sebastian: When I'm in fat-burning mode, I consume at least 6-7 small meals per day. There are many studies about meal frequency, and each of them says something a little different. I say do your own study to see what works you.

I've tried eating three meals per day, but I've had the best results with eating smaller meals often. I can feel my body's metabolism speed up, and I absorb the nutrients much faster and really burn the fat.

Good Luck Lello :y:

Ok, first of all, your body dont need many meals a day to keep your metabolism up, thats a myth. I know bodybuilders that eat 5000 calories a day in ome meal and have a fat % below 10 all-year around.

Ive tried eating six small meals, and I always feel hungry after a meal. Even if i count calories.
On IF or Leangains if you will (youve heard about this right), you eat 2-3 large meals a day in a 4 to 10 hour eating window.

With 6 meals a day I got down to 15 % BF. With IF/LG I got down to 7-8, just because its so easy.

You say you "feel your metabolism go uo when youre eating frequently", the power of the mind. IF somebody told me that a big mac was healthy all my life, I would've had a good feeling after eating that, instead of feeling poor and fat.

What counts in the end is calories in-calories out.
In the end, do what fits you, if you need to eat every 3 hours, do that. But you should not go say " this is wrong". something thats wrong for you might be right for a 1000+ other people.

LMAO, only distilled water doesn't contain electrolytes. Tap water does.

@Slik drinking pepsi daily is terrible. I know a person who has kidney stones for this. And the doctor explained how bad it is. Water is the best you can drink. Specially if he is on diet.

I don't know why you're laughing mate, water will always dilute your electrolytes- distilled or not.

If you like Diet Pepsi so much, drink it, but drinking 1.5-2 L in a day is not good, whatever the company says. That kind of eating and drinking habits is what makes people fat.

@bigray, come on.... how can drink sodas be good ? try and experiment at home , put a chicken fillet in coke, it shatters. Coke is also great to unclog pipes at home. Imagine what it does with your body.

There is no problem in drinking it from time to time, but not daily. Also, it's addictive, my bf is addicted. He is the one with the kidney stones. He had them twice. The doctor told him it was because of that the first time, he stopped drinking during a time, when he came back to drink Pepsi, the kidney stones reappeared and even so he can't stop drinking it daily.

The best thing you can drink is water, best for your body , skin, etc. And as muck soda drinks you drink , as much you will want to drink.

I wholeheartedly agree water is by far the best thing for you. I used to drink Pepsi Max every day until I started getting chest pains and I am convinced it was the Pepsi Max. I could be wrong, but the timing was uncanny. I drink at least 2L of water every day now.

Lello, If it's hard for you to drink water, you can drink insusions too. I always drink a chamomille tea after eating, sometimes green tea.

The red tea will help you to lose weight also, and it has antioxidants so it's good for your health :

and @Guess_Who, I'll try to add lemon to my water to see if it makes a difference for me, nice idea

What do you do as a physical exercise?

when I can, I come back home from uni by foot, it's like a 30-40 minute walk, I try to do 3 sets of 15 wall push ups sometimes, and I occasionally (like tonight) will play football

but the first 5 weeks, I was at the mountains, I used to go to the gym EVERY morning, do 45 minutes on the treadmill, 30 minutes on the bicycle, and play a minimum of 5 games of ping pong , then in the afternoon I would go for a 3-4 hour mountainous walk! I was shedding pounds like CRAZY! but here in Beirut you don't have the same possibilities for exercise as in the mountains

Thats a lame excuse man. Get a bicycle at home, do some pushups. Get up earlier in the morning and go for a walk. Get serious.

People always underestimate weight training. For fat loss and toning (toning will be your major problem I ASSURE you) weight training is perfect. Not only do you burn calories in the gym or wherever you lift, you burn calories when you sleep as your body repairs your muscles. See if your father will buy you some dumbbells, there's a lot you can do with a few weights.

Toning is shaping your muscles and filling out your skin to give your body some definition.
I don't think you can go wrong with weights even for fat loss. Cardio is good, but heavy weight training will do a lot more than a leisurely walk or cycle (not to say that walking or cycling is useless, but it's not the most effective exercise). Your body adapts to the exercise you put it through. It's the same with weights, if I did 100 curls a day every day my body would get use to that action. You have to work your body in different ways to maximize the efficiency of your work outs.

You will be amazed how much your stamina will improve from weight loss alone.
You are right that cardio will improve it much more though, I guess it just depends on your goals.
You will probably find that more and more cardio will enter your life as you lose weight because you feel fitter and more energetic. You'll probably be running around like crazy playing soccer, going to the beach, hikes, sex, swimming, etc. and all that stuff won't even feel like exercise. It's muscle toning that you really need to dedicate some "gym time" to because there really aren't any leisurely activities that work all your muscle groups.

If you want it bad enough youll find time, or you gonna keep making excuses why you cant.
Im a personal Trainer and have worked with over 2000+ clients, many athletes and many regular people. Its the ones that keep making excuses that fail, and the ones that are 100% devoted and focused that make it.
