It takes it a while in my connection [10 MB Connection] it's nothing tho once you choose the Pixels ,the buffering will also depend on that and won't matter that much ,in short it will load in like 10 sec in your case

-Will I comfortably be able to watch streams from then on? or will it still buffer every 3 seconds?

Yes ,it will buffer every 5 atleast and at that 100kbps speed continuous stream would be a little frustrating

Depends of the length, but just let it load for a min or so it should be fine.

Probably not every 10 seconds but it will buffer.

I've got over 16.000k, I love it downloading on Megaupload reaching 1.5 mb every second.

Speed doesn't necessarily mean everything either. Especially if your connection is shit to begin with. You can have a great speed but if your having a choke/loss in the connection somewhere it is dramatically affected.

So basically it's hard to say how good or what your connection can/can't do. It depends on several things not just speed. And some things aren't in your control on top of that.

You should see an improvement though. It's just hard to judge how big of one.
