Look at the hip hop section. When I regularly posted here, it was always bumping with tons of good discussion. It has had a mere 11 topics posted in today, and the topics on the 1st page go back a week. That's pathetic.

Eminem is the biggest rapper alive, and has the most fans by far. The is the first forum that comes up when you google "eminem forum". There is no reason it should not be popular and have tons of posts. The admin has really hurt the site, no other excuses.

Kanye is significantly less popular than Em, but look at KTT. It is well managed, well organized, and has tons of posts.

Yes. KTT is a very well run/designed forum, and I get tons of great music there. Even TR type rappers like Hopsin and Slaughterhouse get more discussion there.

And KTT doesn't depend on Kanye news, it has tons of discussion regardless. Plenty people there don't dig Kanye.

And I actually prefer TR's smaller community where you can actually "know" people. That doesn't mean practically no discussion is good. The hip hop section is dead.

The thing about TR is: whenever you try to open up a discussion, people think you're trolling! And people here are lazy fucks that usually reply with "tl;dr". I don't really keep an eye on the game but I'm sure others do and love opening up about their opinions.

TR is a small community so if artists we follow have dry news, the forum often follows that trait. Virtually nothing in the Hip-Hop world is interesting me at this exact moment in time but come the next few months, it should be rolling again.

thats exactly the problem.

we can only do so much. we've been asking TR to change the layout for a long time now. then the bot invasion fucked the site greatly because now new member have to take the hassle for it. And just the general likes of people man, its so unfortunate that only chaos and a hostile environment can bring enjoyment... and thats pathetic. I don't get the whole trolling thing that people like to do or the absurd spamming, or just hating members for the fuck of it, its ridiculous. maybe we can ALL put a little from ourselves to make this site better.

Everytime you guys have an idea or something, instead of just bitching about it, you can PM us or let us know more directly so energy can be placed on that instead of fighting against members.

I did ask to get access to the server so I can improve the sites looks and such, but the server is not on the Internet so he can't just give me username and password. He said that when I get a little better in programming he might give me access to it. Until then I can't do anything.

And *name*, I understand that might have been a little harsh and bitchy but when the same member complains about the same thing in different posts then I get mad.. Especially at members with attitude like Freespeech. Believe me, and if it was another new members I would be nice.

It all comes down to him, and yeah we've talked to him about all this but I don't really know what is keeping him from making any changes. hopefully we can direct his attention to this situations.

I can code HTML, and CSS and some PHP.. Not very complex coding though, so but I can of course play around and such and find a nice layout.
I occasionally talk with TOR outside this forum, and when I get home I'll email him again and try to get this happen asap.

And you are right, my response wasn't admin-worthy, but sometimes I just get so fed up. I try to the best I can for this forum, but this is not MY forum, there is so little I can do...
