Dreams

Postby Rollimeo » Feb 3rd, '12, 13:44

how do you guys dream first person or third?

I was talking to one of my friends the other day and she said she dreamed in first person, shes sees the dream through her eyes. Me and my other friend found it strange since we both dream third person, we see ourselves as if we are a character on TV, or controlling a video game character.

Maybe third person is the most, but it shifts a lot. Like, it happens in the same dream, like a camera, the picture is going around me, and then suddenly I am seeing through my eyes, etc.

I love to dream, so I have been exploring and expanding my dreamskills a lot (yes, I know it sounded weird lol). Sometimes my dream continues next night, and sometimes I make a whole movie out of it.

I always dream in first person.

I've never dreamed in third person. :confusion:

I have a few of dreams/nightmares repeating from time to time.

I am not sure how to say how you can do it, I've been doing this for many years, that it just happened. There are articles on Google on how you can practise lucid dreaming.

Lucid Dreams are like real life, you know you're in a lucid dream from the moment you can say "I know this is a dream" and still continue it.

Lucid dreams are fun. I've had a couple. You know it's a dream, and can control everything. Once you know it's a dream you're good to go. Imagine a door, and then whatever you want is on the other side.

You feel everything too. :y:

It's cool to lucid dream about flying and that sorta thing. Maybe things you wouldn't wanna try in real life like sky diving or bungee jumping.

A way I practiced getting into lucid dreams was by doing something very specific several times in the day that is slightly out of the ordinary. Walk up to your bathroom door, and pinch your arm. Say "this is not a dream". Do it often, in consecutive days. Then while trying to fall asleep, think about doing that same thing. When you feel no pain when you pinch your arm while dreaming, you'll know you're dreaming and will have full control.

You ever lucid dream in a nightmare, first time that ever happend to me I thought so defensively(like tryn to run and hide and shit) and it scared the shit out of me.

^ That happened to me.. Only once.

I was walking back home, and in my dream eveyrthing was like in reality. The houses, the friends, even the fucking street names were real. Then it went dramatic lmao.

It became night and something was chasing us, smth like that weird monster in Lost.. Wind basically. At this point, I wasn't controlling my dream. Then my phone fell on the floor, and I had to go back to take it. that's when I started to see it like through my eyes. When I took it, i started to run and saw my friends left me alone. So I ran into a house, and closed the door. And as I was watching the door, walking "backwards", I turned around to see where I was and the thing just "jumped on me" (Idk how, it's invisible, but just the feeling you know.. like in a horror movie)

That shit scared me, I was barely breathing when I woke up.

If you wanna have more lucid dreams, then write down your dreams. When I wake up I try to lay still for a bit and keep my eyes closed while I try to remember what I was dreaming about. Then I grab my iphone and make a big note about it. Sometimes I can remember a lot, sometimes not very much.

But every night before you go to bed, read through your past dreams. It's interesting anyways, because about 15 minutes after you wake up you remember fuck all about your dream.

Once I started doing this, I get about 4-5 lucid dreams a week and they last a long time before I wake up. I just do whatever the hell I want. Ballin as fuck.

I feel actual injury in my dreams and when I wake up, they're still there. Like one time, I had a dream where I had gotten jumped and they cracked my head with a bat. When I woke up, my head was killing me. I've never had a lucid dream I think. Does it look and feel like you're in real life during Lucid Dreaming, or how does it go down?
