Strives to keep my post count low? I don't understand what having a high post count really achieves.

I'm not trying to single anyone out, but people celebrate their post count reaching a certain number, knowing damn well they've posted in chit chat or backstage at least once. So it's not at all about reaching x amount of posts, it's about your post count reaching x.

Why does this forum even have a post counter? I'd like to try not having one and see it if cuts down on a lot of the boring bullshit meaningless posts this forum has become riddled with.

Well, I don't care about my post count, and I do agree that you shouldn't post for the sake of posting. That's not to say that people with a lot of posts have been doing so.

I don't claim to always post the most constructive things, but I see a lot of people posting just for the sake of it. We have a lot of sections where people can talk shit, we have more miscellaneous boards on this forum than eminem/hip hop boards. But people don't seem to keep it to those sections and you get football conversations in Shady Media and so on and it can get annoying.

Sam was always posting useless comments. That idiot clocked up 10k posts in a year or something. And I never saw anything useful come from him! He was an ignorant moron and the forum is better without him, he should have been warned and banned long ago.

Are you trying not to look like a "Stan" for having lots of posts on an Eminem forum? Who even looks at post counts anyway? It shouldn't matter if they're high or low. The fact is actually bothers you is weird in itself.

I strive to keep my post count low to avoid adding to the spam. That's all mate. Don't get defensive because you have fifteen times more posts than me in the same time frame. A signature and avatar has nothing to do with this. If anything, long annoying signatures clog up threads just as much as annoying posts. Tell me, why would I want to stand out? To be "noticed"? To feel important lmao?

Tell me, does your moderator status, large post count and fancy signature make you feel important?

I'm not trying to be offensive, or at least, I wasn't. I started a thread with the intent to get rid of the post counter, or to raise awareness regarding the amount of posts. I didn't read anything wrong. I was told MY lack of posts was actually a two and a half year plan to not come across as a "Stan" and that was WEIRD. Remember, I also said I didn't want to single anyone out (except Sam who we all know is a waste of space anyway). I was attacked, and labeled unimportant because I don't have a signature and avatar.

Now the term important was obviously on his mind, so I enquired if all the stuff I mentioned made HIM feel important. I never said he wasn't, or that his post count was too high (he's a mod, obviously it's going to be higher than the average poster and at the same time be less likey to contribute to spam). It's also interesting to note he didn't deny the fact it made him feel important..

Also, sorry of this post sounds defensive (it's not), I'm just stating my case. Not really sure why you, or Geno for that matter, even have a problem. I'm trying to stop the spam, which is essentially the job you and Geno are failing to do.
