I admit, I totally submitted my Nutella claim when I heard about the lawsuit. That's like $20 I'll get back.
I was going to sue McDonalds for serving me something that definitely wasn't all coffee. I must have had a case because I was asked to turn in the evidence and when I got there, there were a bunch of men in business suits (

) inspecting the restaurant and this woman wanted me to stay and have lunch with her on the house. They gave me a bunch of free meal coupons and told me to stay in contact with them about my future visits. I started brewing my coffee at home that day.
Later on, they claimed that they didn't find anything suspicious in the coffee I gave them, which I know was bullshit because I was drinking their coffee 3-4 times a day over that past year, so I KNEW something wasn't right. It was cold, with clumps of stuff floating in it and it smelled horrible. They had told me they were brewing fresh coffee and I waited in the parking lot for 10 minutes for it. So how could it be cold? Not lukewarm, but cold.
At the end of the day, I figured it wasn't worth it and ever since then my family has been on my ass about not pursuing it. The way I saw it, they did give me a bunch of free coffee and meal coupons that I gave away because I was afraid to eat there, so what more could I really have wanted unless I was a greedy slut?
When I bought my house, my grandpa told me to be careful on how I maintain my sidewalk, because someone could easily just find a way to trip on my property and sue me. I've been paranoid about that ever since.
