Going to see Tech N9ne and MGK next Monday night.

Anyone ever see Tech in concert? Just wondering what to expect...

Where it's held at only holds around 3,000 and he tends to always sell out here. Which makes things interesting.

Can't wait though. It's my first Rap concert. lol.

Yeah. I'm sure it can get wild. I know MGK gets really wild and crazy but I just don't know how it's going to work out with him. I don't know if many here even know who he is. I might be the only one who knows his shit.. lol.

And yeah I understand Man1x. What really sucks about here is we don't get any big names at all really. Especially rappers. We just don't have the venue, I guess.

I've seen grainy videos of some of his performances in small local venues here (in Missouri) and he had screens brought in and props onstage and everything.

lol, but nah, I saw him for my 2nd time at the beginning of April here in Houston. Just make sure to save your energy for Techs set because stage show is basically what he's built his entire career and fanbase upon. His music is made to be performed (hence the "CHA"'s where his breaths are).

But it's not just Tech, Kaliko's come lightyears in regards to his stage-presence. And that motherfucker has a monster voice. I don't think anybody has been someone's hypeman for as long as Krizz has been Tech's, which means their synergy is flawless. So you're mixing Tech's lyrical capabilities with Kali's cadence, on top of like 20 years of shows. They're like the Penn & Teller of hiphop

Okay.. So after not feeling too well the past couple days I haven't felt like posting which is why it's taken me this long to reply..

Anywho. The concert was awesome. As expected. Not too many people there, surprisingly. I did expect a bit more. But glad it wasn't too crowded. I enjoyed it and will definitely go back next time either Tech or MGK come through.

I'd say it was a typical rap concert in a way. A few fights.. Quite a bit of moshing. Lot's of smoke.

One thing that pissed me off right away is they did a fuckin pat down to even get into the venue. I honestly didn't expect that to happen and possibly almost not have gotten in right away cause I had a few vics in my pocket. I personally had to "empty" my pockets. Lift up my fuckin pant legs. Then got patted down on top of that. Lucky me, I had contacts in my pocket and played them off as the pills. So damn close on that one.

One downside I really didn't like is they allowed all ages to this show. I really wish it was 18+ or even 16+. Some douche kids annoy me cause they simply don't know how to act.

Oh and I have even a lot more respect for MGK now too. You may not like his music but the guy is straight. He's real and a great performer. Got a "Lace Up" T-shirt he signed. He's humble and down to earth, at least from my experience. I'm a bigger fan now even more than I already was.

Almost forgot. I had my camera there with me. But it decided to eat two sets of batteries instantly. My camera just basically took a giant shit why I was there. So I pretty much got nothing. Which still pisses me off.
