A Rule Against Proxy Using?

Well, its obviously not surprising that 90% of the trolling, spamming and double accounts in this forum come from users using a proxy (hide my ip kind of deal) to access the forum without being "detected", however, they most of the time are dealt with anyway. The problems are that:

1. from the time being to where the "evil" users are dealt with, its more than enough to break havoc in the forum or to cause some members to get angry or annoyed by them.

2. Some users may be using proxy's and not causing trouble at all, but since many times they're account shows as double with those who are doing the wrong, they may be targeted as the asshole rule breakers and even banned for having double accounts.

So the rule is basically to not allow members to sign up using the proxy deal without letting the administrators or moderators know they will, or that they are. However this will be limited of course to avoid people taking advantage of it just to troll our ignorant asses, or to promote bullshit Russian jewellery n shit.

so, yeah, please give opinions, vote, state your stand, everything.

I see no reason to allow proxies. In the interest of making this sight better, it'd be better to an them. Everytime I have used a proxy it was to mess around on here and cause mischief.

it obviously wouldnt affect you if you sign up using a proxy with your user names because we know you are you. lol this is mainly for, but not limited to new members

TOR is much more than a proxy.

I bet Atone has a shitload of IP addresses if he's using TOR.
