The original story was that Chris Brown sent Drake a bottle as a truce, I guess, and Drake sent the bottle back with a note saying "I'm fucking the love of your life," which prompted some arguing which led to someone throwing a bottle at Chris Brown.

Of course that story has changed a lot, but that was what the initial report was.

At one point they were saying that Meek Mill was the instigator and the one who started throwing bottles. However, there was a tweet between Chris Brown and Meek Mill AFTER the fight implying that this was just a way to get publicity and/or set up Drake, since Meek Mill was with Drake's crew at the time. At the moment, we can't even get the basic facts straight other than 8 people got injured and a VIP section was destroyed. Those are the only things that are certain.

One of Chris Brown's homies was throwing gang signs and making death threats at Drake's entourage in the moments before the NYC nightclub brawl ... this according to several witnesses. Eyewitnesses say ... Chris had been hanging out at his own VIP table with a posse of 16 other guys ... one of whom was a man with dreadlocks who was throwing gang signs and screaming at Drake's table. Witnesses say this man was the primary instigator in the brawl that would follow. June 15, 2012: MediaTakeOut.com just received word that police may be close to charging one of the WORLD'S top rappers, Drake, with a crime . . . and that's because Chris Brown has been COOPERATING with police.

Word is that a member of Chris' entourage VIDEOTAPED the incident, and the tape shows Drake and members of their entourage involved in the fight. We're told that the tape supposedly shows Drake getting it in . . . and it appears that he's using a BOTTLE as a weapon.
