11 year anniversary of 9/11 attacks

What do you remember on this day 11 years ago? Where were you when it happened?

I was only 7 and it happened when I was asleep. I remember my mom crying that morning, I asked why and she said a lot of people died. It was only at school did I find out what happened.

i was a freshman in highschool, chillin in my english class when all of a sudden our principle tells all teachers through the intercom to turn on the tvs and watch the news, it was raw, i remember they kept rewinding the vid of the 2nd plane hitting. Shit was nuts.That day when the bell rang, the flag was at half staff.

Damn, I can't even imagine the shock people felt just sitting in school, at work, or getting up and turning on the TV and literally watching as their helpless fellow human beings died...

I was 12 yo. and in germany it was afternoon,
i think it was on a weekend or hollydays because i could sleep in.
So when i woke up i turned on the tv in our living room
and i switched to every channel and i was wondering
why they are showing the same movie on every channel.
I just wanted "The King of Queens".

I don't think I even knew...I was 6-7 at the time and I completely don't recall what happened that day. I don't even know how I came to learning of 9/11 in the first place, now you got me thinking.

5 Years since Graduation was released.

Man I don't even remember how old I was, I was in Elementary school and my teacher got a call from her husband and she didn't necessarily tell us what had happened but we were let out early, and remember I was really upset. I also saw one of the jets that you see fly over football stadiums before a game fly over the school. It's truly sad, all the lives lost, it's a shame. Prayer for the fams, even till this day.
