I'm a fan of Nole... been one since he was the Murray level underdog at tournaments such as these. Going for his third consecutive title... dope.

Also, noticed all the seeded males basically coast through but there are major upsets and scares in the female categories. Cant wrap my head around why though

I like Wawrinka's style of play, and how he comes to the net a lot. Hopefully this match takes enough gas out of Djokovic's tank that he can't handle Federer.

I watched the second half of it and i was hooked!!! It was an absolutely breathtaking match in terms of suspense. As Nole himself admitted, he was just "hanging in there" so there werent necessarily many great shots from him but you right... Wawrinka was pulling out shots from thin air. Coming to the net often, just trying to exert as much dominance as someone can. When he won that first game in that deciding set or when he was at break point at 5 all ( ) I was sweating.

About the second part, he looked well recovered and EXTRA focused today against Berdych. Played the game in half the time. Murray- Federer should be interesting considering their recent history. Cant assume he will get there....

For the women (i know Amadeo really doesnt care) but Sharapova is on a roll. Playing straight set matches all the time it seems. Only person who looks like she can challenge Serena right now.

Murray/Djokovic matches are a tossup. It's going to be 30 shot rallies galore, I'm sure.

Federer's just such a shell of himself in movement. He can't hit a running forehand to save his life anymore. That said, all it takes is the draw opening up for him to win another Grand Slam. As long as he's still making QFs and SFs, he'll have a chance to sneak another one in, maybe more.

I can't take Amadeo seriously anymore. Every time I read his name it makes me think of Amedeo Della Valle
