REC Is Spanish movie. :y:

Under my opinion nothing can beat asian terror. I watched The grudge and I think never in my life I was so scared...I still remember the creepy noise...

Did you see the last REC? it looked more like a comedy than like a terror movie...

I like grave encounters and Rec. The original PA is better in my opinion, but 2 is good as well. The exorcist rocks, fucking love that movie.

I didn't think Shutter Island was scary. I haven't really seen a movie that truly just scared the shit out of me I don't think.

The Sixth Sense scared the shiiiiit out of me when I was 11-12 haha, other than that I can't remember being really scared in any movie. The Paranormal franchise is horse shit, The Exorcist was enjoyable but not scary.

I've never seen REC but I heard it's really scary.

Gillermo Del Toro has a thriller/horror coming out soon called Mama. I'm going to check it out but I don't expect to be scared.

Honestly I thought Sinister was pretty scary. It was one of the few horror movies I've actually liked. Case 39 was also pretty good.

You're right, a lot of scary movies aren't very scary...

Um, well The Shining is a CLASS-IC and one of the only horror movies I can think of that is also one of the best movies ever; many horror films just serve a purpose but it's kind of a silly experience...

I also remember Hostel being scary when I first watched it in the cinema, but I was like 15 and haven't seen it since then, so maybe it's not, but still pretty sure it is...

What else... hmmm... I also watched The Ring as a kid, I THINK it was the original Japanese version and pretty sure it was scary at the time...

And there was actually a, I THINK it was the film IT, I remember a very scary (as a child) horror movie about a killer clown as a kid; and clowns are pretty fucking creepy. I think it was that.

Oh okay, and just to end this post with a completely fucked up, freaky, genuinely disturbing classic that will get under your skin and do SOMETHING to you: The Wicker Man (original 1973 version).

PS. just noticed after posting this that, if you look at the diagonal pattern of the films I've named in bold (the titles), they proceed in a nice line almost evenly, diagonally downward, to the right, by coincidence. Things like that comfort my obsessive nature. :flower:

I agree about Sinister. I was expecting some dumb bullshit like the Paranormal Activities but it was actually pretty cool.

agreed, but the cinema ruined it for me tbh. If you watch it watch it alone

well I was alone (with a friend) in the cinema so it was really great.

I like to watch the Paranormal movies on the opening Friday or Saturday night because I really enjoy listening to the reactions of the pales out auditorium. One girl will scream and it will set of a chain reaction of screams throughout the cinema. I find it really entertaining. Far more than the movie itself.
