Menzo and I wanted to host a CW tourney in the future, so we'll see how it turns out.

Another way to fix this would be getting as many people as possible, then setting up battles by skill, then top three get colors.

Simpler that way.

This. Don't get me wrong, it should be exclusive, but there are people who deserve it. Only having two ways to earn it is retarded, and popularitiy and skill determining those things is also retarded. You need to base colors on a few things.

Maybe name some more news posters, Stanley group maybe if someone has 5k-10k posts in the Em section. Just ideas though.

"Stan" group is essentially veterans. People who have been on this site for awhile and contribute. We can't make EVERYONE a vet. If everyone has a colour, they become less important. We might as well not have any.

You ignored everything I said and picked out one little thing to make an argument against because everything beat what you said. That's ignorant and shows you don't even want to consider doing what I said, and don't value my opinion, which makes you a bad admin. We need at least 1-3 active newsposters. Vets should be a rare color, along with mods/admins. But if someone never comes out of the graphics section or CW or fuckin tech talk, I see no problem with them getting a color for doing something in there.

There should definitely not be more colour opportunities. It'd be stupid - the thirty active members all coloured and half of the rest of the semi-active members also coloured.

An idea though - DGAF's battle name colour could be 'taken' if someone challenges and beats him. But there should be limits on how many times the champion can be challenged, otherwise it would be ridiculous.

Something to that effect?

Imagine the supposed champ losing every battle they had, but keeping the belt.

It'd be a way to entice more creative writing activity, at least in battles.

Well the thing is, I don't think anyone thinks there should be more ways to earn colors. We have enough and that would take away there special status.

But as Bigray said, if you don't have skill or aren't the guy every single member likes, you don't get a color ever, which can very well happen.

I'm sure the Mods try their best to make their nominations as unbiased as possible - as should the members. But you can't really combat popularity in a voting system.

Eedee's and DGAF's triple battle was a bit of a blowout.

DGAF would be able challenge for the title back.

But it's have to be one challenge per week/fortnight or some shit. And if it's the same person challenging, maybe a month.

eg.
If I challenged DGAF and lost, I couldn't challenge him again for (one month).
And he couldn't be challenged again for (one week/fortnight)

Dont think many people would sign up (not because no color) because of lack of writers....we have a hard time finding people for regular tournament.. Now that I think of it..I think it is fine the way it is.

And whoever said if you don't beat those guys who write all the time, you don't deserve a color
