Lucid Dreaming

Postby Ubb » Jul 31st, '13, 18:53

I saw a post here a couple of months ago. It was kinda like a tutorial on how to lucid dream. I remember SajN said he was going to try it (if i remember correctly).

Anyway, can you post that tutorial again? My normal dreams are always so boring, and I want to nail Scarlett.

I don't think I said I was gonna try it, because this happens to me often, and has been happening for some years now. It's fun.

Charlotte, I am not sure. I used to do it when I was a kid automatically, and then I began thinking about it, make stories in my head whole awake and when going to bed, I'd try to "live" those stories. It wouldn't happen the first few times but I practised and tried different methods to keep doing it regularly. I've noticed it mostly happens when I am laying on my back, not when I am on my side or stomach.

Also, most times now I don't even realize I am dreaming. Everything feels real, and I control everything. I realize it's a dream after I wake up, sometimes during when I brush my teeth, or when I see something that reminds me of it. I get so shocked, like "shit, was that a dream??". It happens way too much to me, lmao.

Obviously, if I am nailing Kim Kardashian (or do something very unrealistic) I know it's a dream, even during the love making lmao, but it still feels real as fuck.

I had one a couple of days ago. I was fighting this dragon with a skull for a head, and then I somehow knew I was in a dream, but I couldn't move, so I teleported and blew up the skull. I then went to this dark castle and buttfucked Raven from Teen Titans, before these cardboard cutouts of random people told me to go away, so I teleported to them and chopped off their heads. Then I got bored and willed myself to wake up.

Lucid dreams are fucking wicked. I have them on average about 1-2 times every two weeks. All of a sudden it just sort of clicks like "Hey wait a minute, I'm dreaming" and then you have control over everything (or most things at least). Very cool.

I'm not sure if what I have are 'lucid dreams'. I'm dreaming (not controlling anything), and then I realize it's a dream, but I'm not waking up. Then I can control most of the stuff in the situation I was dreaming about before. I can't go from being chased by a psycho to fucking Rihanna, for example. Eventually, if what I'm dreaming is too scary or something I wake myself up by just breathing heavily or just shouting to wake myself up. I'm not sure if it's classified as 'lucid dreaming' but it could be. It'd be so cool to just think about something and see it happen. And for it to feel real.

That would be lucid dreaming, you're just not used to it enough to change the situation. If you had a way of doing it regularly I bet you'd be able to take complete control of it after a bit of practice.

Always wanted to do this but never can. I usually never realize it's a dream until the very end, thus making me wake up instead of continue the dream I guess.

Maybe this can work out for those who struggle with it:

Just picture/go through a scene few times before you go to sleep, and when you get in bed (laid on your back) and close your eyes, just keep picturing that scene even though it doesn't feel real. It will most likely not work the first few times, but keep doing it the next nights, and it might happen.

That's how I started out.

I am going to sleep now, so hopefully I'll manage to do it. Usually I do.
