Dragon Ball Z is coming back!!!(UPDATE: Manga only so far)

My body is ready. Holy shit. After the success of the latest movie, apparently the creator is starting to make new DBZ episodes in that same style. This...is a wonderful day for entertainment and TR. Maybe he'll make Gohan NOT a pussy and Goku won't be the only one killing the bad guys for once. Goku is nice but I like Vegeta, Trunks, and Gohan better than him...idk.

Let's celebrate.

Edit: Don't get TOO excited, it's just the manga. But a successful manga will most likely produce new episodes.

Well, apparently it's just the manga so far...I saw it on FB and it made it seem like it was gonna be the show...shit. The manga coming back though is a great sign, it could mark new episodes as well if they are popular enough. Sorta false alarm but at the same time awesome. I really do hope they start making a new TV series as well, but for now it's just the manga.

They're also putting out an MMORPG. I'll definitely check that out.

I know. I did give a source. I originally saw it on a FB picture meme post and it made it out like it was coming back. I got excited and made this thread before googling. I typed it in google though and gave that article, where I read more and it was about the mangas and not the anime. But as Notalius said, if the mangas are successful there will more than likely be an anime that follows.

Have you guys ever read the mangas? I read the Dragon Ball ones, they were very funny and different from the show. Not DBZ though. I might start reading them when he starts pumping them out again. Maybe the anime will come not too long after? We can only hope.

I read them all. Dragon Ball, even the anime, is very different from Dragon Ball Z. It's fucking great as fuck though.

DBGT doesn't exist, so would Goku Jr and Vegeta Jr still exist? My DB knowledge needs a refresher course.

Hm, that's a good point. GT is technically not cannon. If he was to do more Z episodes, I suppose it would take place after they beat Buu. He really does need to correct the story because GT is bullshit in every way. So stupid.

Alright, so if he was to make a new anime, I guess it would take place just right after Buu died. Gohan used to be so awesome until GT, I hope they improve his character.

Who are your favorite characters? (to everyone) Mine was Vegeta, then Gohan, then Trunks. I think ultimately I like Vegeta the best, though. Either him or Trunks, Trunks is cool too. Gohan just simply fell off after he defeated Cell. Which was fuckin' epic btw.
