Can u place a no contact order on a family member?

So, most of you know by now, the situation with my mother, her walking out on the family back in September, it's been almost a year since she left and she's still toying with our heads,

the water bill was in her name and the only way to change it was if we took them a lease with my dads name, my mom knew this, and one day had our water shut off, which in the end, cost us $200 to get the issue resolved,

with her gone, i've worked my ass off to get us out of debt, we no longer owe hundreds of people money, and no my mother still finds ways to fuck with us, today, i recived a message on facebook from one of her scum bag friends telling me how my mother cries daily for her mistakes, how sad right? bitch walked out and turned her back on her 10 year old daughter, so she could go be with 1 50 year old drug addict who flips burgers at burger king, and now she wants us to forgive her? HELLLLno,

i told the lady if she contacted me again, i would call the police for harassment, my mother will never hear from me ever, she dug her hole, she can die in it, cry herself to sleep for the rest of her life,


my question is, is there a way i can get a court enforced order so that she is never allowed to have contact with me? there is nothing legally keeping her in our lives, she does not send money for child support for my sister, we do not have any of her shit in this house, i burned every photo that had her in it, all her child photo's, all her wedding photo's, all her personal information that she left behind, so, there is no reason for her to contact us, is there a way i can get a court order for her to never have conact with me again?

yeah you can, if your a minor you need at least two legal guardians to vouch for the request and state why you want a no contact order or a proximity limit order. it takes a great deal of time to get it finalized. depending on what state you live in, it can take months.

but if you make a case of it, you can have her thrown in jail for endangerment and abandonment. and since shes not paying child support it can mean a nice jail vacation for her.

I'm 25, i'll be 26 in November so it'll be easy for me, my little sister just turned 11 on the 17th, i guess it's her choice if she ever wants to talk to her mom again i can't tell her no, as much as i would love for my sister to be just as stubborn as me and refuse to interact with mom ever again, but i can't force my ways on her.
