That's right, having a hard time listening to all the modern music. The last 2 good hip hop albums of the 2000s was D12 World and Encore. It went downhill after that. It's all about 2004 and before. Remember G Unit and Outcast? The Love Below and Speakerbox? Classic. We had 50 Cent make GRODT in 2003. Those were the golden days. And of course all the classics of the 90s that you know. I don't need to fit in. If people say I live in yesterday, so be it.
Like Eminem said, ''Still stuck in the past, I pod what the fuck is that?'' Hell, Eminem doesn't know how to use a computer. He doesn't use a smart phone, he is still on Zelda from Regular Nintendo. He only knows about Frogger and old school Donkey Kong. With that said, I'll stay stuck in the past as well. I'm not going to listen to music that is past the mid 2000s. It ain't going to happen.
Eminem really missed a good opportunity. He keeps on collabing with the likes of Rihanna to stay current. We live in a very strange era. In 2000 nobody would have imagined Eminem working with pop artists, willing to help people like Bieber, making peace with his mom. I mean it's cool to love your mom, but please keep that to yourself. Eminem forgot what it's like to be a pure rapper. Rap God was good. It was. But he wasn't consistent enough in his style on the MMLP2. 'Bad Guy' and 'Parking Lot' led me to believe MMLP2 was going to be a true sequel. Then he messed it up with 'So Much Better.'
I truly feel sorry for the Eminem fanboys on here who will never know what it's like to listen to real hip hop, to music that's real. I have faith Eminem will rise again. I have no reason to believe. But I want to.
