I've been looking through all my notebooks I used to write in as a kid, like 7 or 8 years old. Songs, short stories, randoms scribbles. For this thread, let's take a look at some of these amazing songs I wrote. I cleaned up some spelling errors though:
I CAN'T DO ANYTHING
Verse 1
Gotta save her,
I know I don't have too
But I gotta
I gotta tell 'em
Chorus
I'm just a skinny guy in a costume
Tight around the waist
With the gloves and such
Goggles wrapped around my face
I don't want to disgrace the lord of the Christ
Don't know if I can slice cheese,
I can't do anything.
Verse 2
Milk is milk product
Don't' drink much
Can't pick up a piece of paper
Too weak to fight.
Feet itch, thighs ache
Nothing is a piece of cake
Even though I shake and bake thugs
I can't do anything
repeat chorus

BIG MONEY
Verse 1
My older brother Tommy was a lineman rest his soul
His job was hanging hot wires on tall light poles
Every morning bright and early he climbed way up in the sky
Well I never understood it so one day I asked him why
Chorus
He said it pays big money
And man I'm into that
He said it pays big money,
Willing to take the chance.
Let me tell you something, sonny
You oughtta see my bank account
And it pays big money
But he sure can't spend it now.
Verse 2
Well my late Uncle Charlie
Was this demolition hound
He'd travel across the country blowing buildings to the ground
He carried a case of dynamite almost everywhere he went
And he smoked them big long cigars
And wink at you and grin
repeat chorus
Verse 3
well now the moral of the story boys
Don't go getting yourself killed
Be kind to your rich relatives
And they might put you in their will
repeat chorus
What the fuck.
