UK artists on the rise?

Postby Block » Sep 5th, '06, 06:06

i'm not from the UK, personally, but it seems like alot of UK artists are starting to be regocnized globaly, lately. not even just hip hop, but in other genres aswell, (james blunt, blue october, white stripes).. hopefully we'll see some more from the hip hop side.

what's people's opinions?

u know...i was thinking about that too. i was watching MTV and i saw a lot of UK artists music videos and i was like "wow" because i couldnt believe all those artists. i dont think it just started now but a lot are being recognized. there were a lot of artists from the UK who made it big but i just couldnt believe that they were being played that much on MTV
