Solo Mixtape?

Postby ThomasAguanis » Sep 13th, '06, 02:18

ok well im thinking wether or not to do a solo tape. i just wanted to see if people would want to hear one if i decided to make one. then depending on the results over say the next week or so i'll make a decision. oh and if you say yes maybe say what kind of songs you'd like to hear...i do have songs written and ideas for songs but it'd be nice to see what people would want to hear...if anything

I think you should make a song about how great I am at everything, how intelligent I am, how handsome I am, you know, the regular stuff... no, I mean, make the whole mixtape about that :D nah just kidding ;) I voted "yes", and to answer your question, I think you should try to get a lot of different kind of songs, some dark songs, and some funny songs, some group songs with TMW etc.... don't be afraid to experiment new things! that's one of the thing I like the most, when something is original... something you know nobody heard before

Listenin' to ya shit on SoundClick.. I like it. You got a different style than alotta people I hear on the net. pretty good quality too. (You're doing it at your house I presume?) If ya are, it's mad good for the limited supplies of equipment.

good lyrics in ya songs, too. But you sound different than you look, lol... If that makes sense... lol

I also wanna hear Maybe's shit.. These dudes saying he's got some crazy shit, but everything I've heard he claims is "half his talent".
(personally, I give 100% on everything I do.. So I don't see how that excuse is feesable.)

By the way, thomas - On your Soundclick, what's the name of the beat for that diss 'Insert Name Here' ?

Right now everything is overshadowed becuz of TRshady Mixtape. You put something out, it flops.

Layer Cake Advance got 4 downloads.

The Crack Spot Mixtape got 47 before it was deleted from rapidshare.

ok thanks for all the replies.

@mart-ahah maybe it'll have a mart dedicated track on it haha..if its even made. and thanks for the ideas..i was thinking that but i think i just worded the 1st post wrong.

@winnie, yes i was planning one but stopped it...that happened about 2 times i think.

it's called S.C.O.M. by Fort Minor (Dont know who produced it)
and yes...im doing everything from my house in my room.

@Coccoa- it wouldnt be out anytime soon so the tr tape would be done with by then and your advance probally got 4 downloads...since it was an advance and people were just waiting for the actual full tape.

and i think i have a plan on what to do but i'm still deciding and doing some other stuff. thanks again for all the replies, maybe ill get more feedback in the following week..then ill post what im gonna do..i think :sweating: :-k

I dont see y not Thomas. But to be honest, i think making even an amatuer self/freinds entertainment mixtape ud need decent quality. I admire anybody's creativity but quality is a great deal. nah mean.

Ill look forward to it man. Do ur best, dont rush.

hmm i dont know much...well anything about frequencies except it has to do with the wavelengths of sound wave and time it takes to reflect or refract or something..if i remember correctly :sweating:
