"Mosh"

Postby Hadez » Aug 24th, '08, 15:19

is it just me or is "Mosh" (by Eminem) a shitty attempt at a political song? all he does is randomly bash Bush without even touching on the politics of it. in the first verse he talks mostly about himself so much that it's not even relevant to the point.

I just like the fact that he trashes Bush in it. What do you think he should talk about in the song? Different types of weapons? Name every fucked up politician in the government?

Good song, pretty lyrical in some parts compared to the rest of that album, good video, good attempt to sway voters before the election, I see nothing wrong

I agree on the fact that Em didn't use any arguments that point out the governments mistakes, but still the song has some nice lyrics..

"no more blood for oil we got out own battles to fight on our own soil/ no more pschological warfare to trick us to thinking that we aint loyal"

ever notice how after 9/11 it seemed like you were constantly being convinced to join the army and if you didnt you werent a real american? thats how it was where im from.

no more blood for oil. thats saying what the war is really about.

those are 2 good arguments showing what government has done wrong.

"strap him with an ak 47 let him go fight his own war, let him impress daddy that way"

a lot of people were saying we went in to finish the job that bush sr was doing.

i think it's a great song.

i dont think eminem meant it to be as political as ur expecting, he was trying to tell people don't vote for this faggot bush, which he obviously did.. because of points delinquent said and the bush bashing..

it didn't work because he was an idiot and released it like a week or 2 before an election and that's not enough time to get around to everyone.

Well said. And yes I believe that it was Bush trying to finish what his father didn't have the time to do.
