The whole "Stan Logic"

I've been seeing it more and more, ever since Won't Back Down came out. First of all, I know we're an Eminem forum. So naturally, we're all Eminem fans. But there's a big difference between a fan and a Stan, and a lot of people here have pretty much exposed themselves as one.

"I'm not liking the song. Maybe after a couple of listens I'll get used to it"

^^Why would you want to listen to a song that you don't like, just to get used to it. You either like it or you don't. Maybe give it a few spins to get the punchlines, but I've never hated a song and then said "Oh, now it's bearable, and I can rest at peace knowing I'm not hating on an Eminem song". That's classic dickriding right there. If you don't like the song, admit to yourself that you don't like it. It's ok, Eminem's not gonna please you with every single song he puts out. It's ok to...not like a song guys! Imagine that, you can actually not like an Eminem song!! You can...criticize it, say why you didn't like it. You can do all these things! Yes Stans, it is possible.

Obviously this isn't aimed at everyone here, just a rant at a few posters at 2 am in the morning (I'm in Europe)

Some songs do grow on you though, not just Eminem songs. A lot of my favourite albums I thought were pretty meh to begin with but then loved them.
