3. A lot more people would agree that Encore is better than Gucci's album.
4. You're a dumbass.
5. I've heard a LOT of Underground and so far MATW > Undeground scene. I'm not saying, it's not even close. I think that 2 or 3 Underground albums come close.

Why are you taking time to seriously respond to a troll? It would be very said if he wasnt trolling but even then, the best response is either short or no response at all.

EDIT: Holyshit you guys respond fast. I should probably say sorry or something, but you guys take internet arguments waaaay to seriously.

You think I'm trolling? Nothing I said has not been true. If anyone is trolling it's Master Chief because no one can be that stupid.

Rap-wise, sure.
I'd much rather listen to great production with a terrible rapper (Whatever the hell Gucci's album is) than mediocre production with a bad rapper though (Encore). I haven't listened to Gucci's album even though I know he is terrible, and I never said Gucci's album was better but my name was brought up somewhere in this so I might as well say something as I have heard Encore, and it is indeed terrible.

No, it's not average. Not even for normal rap standards. An "average rapper" is Kanye West, and Kanye West is a better rapper than Em was on Encore. Encore's production isn't as good as Kanye's and some of it's hooks are just embarrassing so that's inexcusable.

It's bad.

The only thing Encore had going for it was its subject matter on some songs, but the performance on those songs was poor aside from Spend Some Time, Crazy In Love (I guess? He was really just kind of singing), Yellow Brick Road and Never Enough. Like Toy Soldier's performance was mediocre despite it's decent concept, Mockingbird's, Evil Deed's and Encore's were poor and everything else was just disgusting.

- The lyrics ranged from terrible to decent (More so on the former)
- The flow was lazy and amateur
- The delivery & voice was monotonous and shot
- Some of the beats were good, and some of them were just as :facepalm as the performances
- This is easily his worst album in terms of hooks.

All of that being said, I'm not trying to be "cool" by saying it's terrible, I'm not trying to stand out, I'm not trying to balance myself out by admitting one of my favorite artist's weakness, I'm not being a 'hater'. This album is bad. I like Recovery, I like Relapse. I hate Young Money. I know the difference between good and bad, and this is bad. I'd rate the album 2-3.8/10. I'm not pulling that number out of my ass either, I actually took out a calculator because of the bullshit in this thread and was even generous enough to say that I liked Curtain's Down :facepalm2

As fucking terrible as Eminem was on Encore, putting all stan bias aside, Eminem is still a better rapper than Gucci.

If you listen to Gucci's album you will understand me. Trust me. If you don't wanna waste your time YouTube some of his songs.

At the end of the day, I like 95% of what Eminem makes. Admittedly, the only songs from Eminem that I don't like are: Fack, Big Weenie, My 1st Single, & Just Lose It. Ass Like That is catchy but the verses suck balls. I usually, try to forget those songs so my view on Encore kind of betters itself. But, I don't wanna be like you said someone who puts it down just to fit in or be cool. If I wanted that I'd rated it a 1, 2 or 3 and probably just call the CD a pile of trash. And there are people who think that, and it's fine but it's obvious that some members DON'T feel that way about the album yet they claim to. In the end, Encore is a 5 IMO, and I think that's fair enough and respectable.

But, I still can't belive he couldn't just stick in some post-TES songs on Encore. I'm pretty sure, he could've stuck in there 5 better songs that he made in 2003. That would make the album SOOO much better that it hurts me to think about it :facepalm

It doesn't matter who's the better rapper.

It's about those two albums

To each their own I guess. Evident from my thread in the Hip Hop Domain, I'd still put it in the top 5 worst hip hop albums I've ever listened to, and that's not being harsh, that's just me looking at it from a hip hop point of view. If ANY other rapper made this album, I would rate it just as bad. The couple songs where he actually raps about real shit remind me of Asher Roth tbh*. :coffee:

*Asher Roth's album is still better than Encore.
