I didn't buy this album until probably a year after I got the mmlp (which I got the day it dropped) cause I didn't know about looking shit up on the internet, I mean it was the end of 6th grade for me when the mmlp dropped. So hearing it as the second em album was awkward, but obviously when I got a little bit older I realized how sick this album really was. The depression stands out on if I had and rock bottom, but on the rest of the songs he talks about in a funny way, like mentioned in the article.

What's funny is, it wasn't until years later, but at some point when I was listening to this album, I remembered a kid talking about the Ken Kaniff skit in the dugout at a baseball game. Damn, if I only asked what they were talking about :coffee:

Same here. The first song I remember hearing from him is TRSS. I loved that video as a kid, but I didn't give a shit about him.

It's probably the funniest album there has ever been made. Almost every single line of tracks such as My fault, My name is, Role model and Cum on everybody are hillarious. Even the darker tracks such as Just don't give a fuck are quite funny. But what lyrically makes this something extraoradinary is the addition of Rock Bottom and If I had - some of the most emotional tracks I've heard.

It probably my favourite story telling album too; Brain damage, 96' Bonnie & Clyde and Guilty Conscience are all amazing!

If it wasn't for Renegade, I'd say Bad meets evil is the best collaboration he has ever done.

Oh yeah, and the rhyming is untouchable.

Still not listning to the album :coffee:
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

The SSLP is Dope album and I was like damn, since SSLP came out about 12 years ago. Brain Damage, Role model, SDGAF, As the world turns, I'm shady is one of my favorite songs. I just started listening to SSLP, I felt like going from SSLP to Recovery, Just listen the whole album through and its funny how eminem's Albums changed through the years. I'm sure I'll skip a few songs on Encore but try to listen the whole album and also Recovery.

I could listen the whole album for the hell of it:
