No, Eminem was Masta Ace's influence. Eminem listened to Masta Ace, among about 200 other rappers, in the 90's. He took no actual influence from Masta Ace, as is clear if you listen to the latter's earlier work, which sounds absolutely nothing like anything Eminem ever did.

Masta Ace, on the other hand, completely switched his style to rhyme more like Eminem on "Disposable Arts" in 2001. He even paid homage to Eminem with his "I don't do black music, I don't do white music/I make rap music" line, as well as biting Eminem's cadence from Stan on "Dear Diary."

He was similar to SSLP Eminem on "The Disposable Arts" but more East coast .
