This is great news. I really don`t know what to expect from Eminem, so that is why I`m really looking forward to this album.

Well, the album should be almost done. But the information comes from Dr Dre, who is being saying Detox is almost done since...forever.

You are right... I made the same point when that came out, even though Detox' status as almost done should be measured on another scale.
The other thing is they paraphrased what Dre said in the title of that YouTube video, which led to this title here but technically almost done & finishing up means totally the same thing if Dre said it.
So basically... EM is still recording for his album, even if it is like 99% done or whatever!

Exactly. I'm sure he has recorded more than 25 songs so far.
He wrote LTWYL 2 weeks before the mixing process, so anything could happen.

He's probably recorded way more than that & they have probably did the cuts already & have shaped up the album at this point but obviously they're still looking for something.
At this point I think it's safe to say that something they're looking for is gonna take some extra time.

You're right about the so called last minute songs too, it has happened many times to many artist actually.

EM has definitely had time to record more than 100 songs in between like some time after Recovery dropped & now & logically he's most likely done it. Cutting the big number to like a shaped up album is not hard though 'cuz there are always many records which are not album material if we talk about big batches of songs recorded together in like a given period of time. A lot of them get separated right after they're done actually.
EM has always scraped any kind of older material rather than re recording on it to make it up to date. He could record like a few versions for a song & then to just cut the verses he doesn't like replacing them with others he likes better, but that's different because once his songs have been fully finished he's never worked on them later on to get 'em up to date.
As a matter of fact EM has scrapped many confirmed records, even albums exactly 'cuz they haven't been up to date at the time he's been about to release an album.
